Friends of Friendship Park

Madres Deportadas supports Friends of Friendship Park's activism to reopen El Parque de la Amistad to families on either side of the border. Every Sunday, families can meet at the park to meet along the border wall. Through our center, we educate families on the process for seeing loved ones in the park and support Friends of Friendship Park's binational garden and binational, bilingual church service.

Unified Deported Veterans

As one of the first groups to support deported veterans living in Tijuana, Madres Deportadas continues to work with the Unified Deported Veterans to advocate for the rights of US veterans deported to Mexico. Since 1996, the United States Government has been deporting veterans who, as legal permanent residents, joined the United States Armed Forces and served their country proudly. We help connect veterans with resources to advocate for access to their VA benefits and pensions, in addition to activism for the return of deported veterans to their families in the US.
